U.S. and International Partners Eye $275M Support for Romania’s SMR Project

In a bid to further global decarbonization efforts, the United States, along with multinational public-private partners, intends to provide up to $275 million to advance the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) project in Romania. Additionally, the United States has issued letters of interest indicating potential project financing of up to $4 billion.
