Last October, our journey began in Indonesia with the inaugural Repower Summit. Fast forward, and we’ve hit a new milestone at the 2nd Repower Summit in Xiamen, China! Co-organized by QuantifiedCarbonand Xiamen University, we saw our participant numbers soar to double the initial count – a clear signal for the growing interest and momentum for repowering globally.
From its roots as an academic project in 2019, Repower has evolved into a dynamic, multi-disciplinary initiative. We’re now navigating the realms of technology, economics, policy and finance, all aligned towards one mission: accelerating the global transition from coal to clean energy.
