‘What happens with all the fossil fuel infrastructure now we decarbonise? Is it reusable in some way?’

Trillions of dollars are invested in coal power plants – blowing them up is a waste.

1. Can we decarbonize, avoid stranding investments, avoid firing the local workforce and avoid abandoning the site, the permits and the equipment?

2. Can coal power plant sites continue to fill all their full current roles in the energy system without the continued burning of fossil fuels.
