The International Energy Agency’s Energy Technology Perspectives 2026 is the latest edition of its flagship technology publication. The report examines the fast-changing landscape for clean energy technologies, covering deployment trends, manufacturing capacity, trade flows, investment, project pipelines, industrial competitiveness and supply chain vulnerabilities.
This edition focuses particularly on the security and resilience of clean energy technology supply chains, as governments work to balance energy security, affordability, competitiveness, climate goals and industrial strategy.
